This is a 4% increase on the national average. Hospitality workers feel less valued at work, are less excited to go to work and are less satisfied with their pay, than the national average.

Free snacks and career development options rounded out the three top benefits that drive loyalty for hospitality workers. This is despite the low uptake of employer training seen in this cohort.

Although they are 13% more likely (than the national average) to report their job satisfaction being influenced by those efforts and 3% more likely to report it impacting their engagement and commitment.
