65% of admin workers feel valued at work

Even though admin workers continue to feel valued by their employers, 39% are considering leaving their current company, which is more than 10% higher than six months ago.

The benefits that matter to the nation

Media workers have shown a big decrease in utilisation of their benefits, the biggest ones being mentoring programs, and career development options which is indicative of them not thinking about their future in their company long-term.

In line with national averages, the most used employee benefits for retail workers are: free coffee and snacks, flexible scheduling, virtual working and support for reasonable work hours. Interestingly, some of the least used employee benefits centre around childcare and family support.

The top five benefits that drive loyalty for admin workers are all more than 10% higher than the national average, indicating that these employees are hungry for more incentives. Virtual working, for instance, is valued by 39% of workers - a 10% increase on the national average.

25% of admin workers feel that their employer's sustainability efforts influence their workplace engagement

While the majority of admin workers feel that their employer's sustainability efforts influence their engagement, less than half say that it impacts their job satisfaction. Even less would feel influenced to leave their job due to their company's sustainability initiatives.
