14% decrease in public admin employees' satisfaction with their overall compensation

Six months ago, 70% of employees expressed satisfaction with their overall compensation, whereas the current figure stands at 56%. This correlates with a growing number of employees in the sector contemplating leaving their current employer.

Flexible schedule is the most utilised benefits which is a fan-favourite across the country. Benefits focussed on career development and training are offered by many companies but see some of the lowest uptake - this indicates company benefits not being implemented properly in the organisation or not being communicated enough to their employees.

This marks a 7% increase from the national average. Employees also stated that flexible schedule, support for reasonable work hours and subsidies to support their physical health would make them more engaged and satisfied at work.

46% of workers are unsure about how their company's sustainability efforts affect their job satisfaction

Despite this, more employees have agreed that they could motivation for staying with their employer is influenced by the employers' sustainability goals and efforts, compared to the data from six months ago.
