Flare Benefits Membership – Terms

Welcome to the Flare Benefits Club, where you get access to exclusive benefits and offers from Flare and its affiliates, subject to your eligibility. The Flare Benefits Club membership benefits are valid for the calendar year (January 1st – December 31st). Flare Benefits Club membership entitles you to earn points on your activity within the Flare App and attain membership status, which may enhance the benefits you receive through the App.


Points

Earning Points

Points can be earned on the Flare App through your participation in your benefits plan. By completing activities on the platform such as getting an estimate or reading an article, you will be awarded the amount of points assigned to the activity. Activities within the app will be updated from time to time.

Beyond activities in the app you can also earn points by proceeding with your estimate and taking up the offer in your benefits plan. These activities include:

  • Proceeding with your Cars estimate and placing a vehicle order with Flare Cars
  • Proceeding with your Health estimate and taking up a new health cover policy or switching your health cover through Flare with Compare Club.
  • Proceeding with your Devices estimate and placing an order for a device through Flare.
  • Proceeding with your Energy estimate and switching your energy provider through Flare with Compare Club.

Points will be awarded to a customer on completion of an activity within 90 days of the confirmed completion of the activity. Flare reserves the right to re-assess and adjust an individual’s points at any time.

Using Points
Benefits Club Points in the Flare App are not redeemable for cash and carry no monetary value. They are simply a recognition of your engagement with your benefits plan and are used to attain membership status.

Membership Statuses

Benefits Club Points earned on the Flare App will translate directly to your Membership Status on the platform. The table below summarises the four different levels of membership as well as the rewards attained with each level:

Flare reserves the right to alter the membership status scheme at any time. Flare also reserves the right to re-assess and change any individual’s status. Additional activities will be added from time to time to the app to help members accumulate points towards status.

To obtain a platinum or diamond membership status, you will need to proceed with one or more of the estimates and complete the activity outside of the app.

Status Expiry

Status gained is valid for the calendar year (January 1st – December 31st). The status will reset at the beginning of the year.* If you no longer work at a Flare affiliated employer, your membership will also expire and you will lose access to the benefits that you have attained from this program.

*For members joining before 31st December 2023, your status will carry over into the new year.

Rewards

Everyday Discounts

Everyday discounts are accessible to all members of the Benefits Club via the App. They are available in the form of storecards, offers, and cardlinked cashback through the Flare card.

Premium Benefits

As a member of the Flare Benefits Club, you will all have access to premium benefits offered on our platform such as private health insurance through Compare Club. As our platform expands, you may be entitled to new premium benefits as they become available, subject to your eligibility and your employer’s agreement.

Exclusive Offers

Exclusive offers are available to members at Gold status or higher. These offers will be distributed via email from time to time to eligible members as of the date the offer email is sent.
