This is a 4% increase on the national average. Hospitality workers feel less valued at work, are less excited to go to work and are less satisfied with their pay, than the national average.
Many employers in the health space offer flexible schedules yet there is a low uptake in this benefit. The most utilised benefits continues to be free coffee and snacks.
This is despite it being offered by 67% of workplaces. Training programs are also underutilised with an uptake rate of 13%, although it is offered by 59% of workplaces.
Free snacks and career development options rounded out the three top benefits that drive loyalty for hospitality workers. This is despite the low uptake of employer training seen in this cohort.
